BCA encourages all of its members to become actively involved in the BCA Government Affairs Program. Together we have worked to seek to regulate our industry. Now that the Bill has been passed we must now seek to continue to protect our industry. We must continue to monitor the changes that directly impacts the construction industry, and by communicating directly with elected officials and policy makers.
Government Affairs
The BCA must continue to protect the industry from regulations that could raise the cost of housing in the country. In coordination with the BCA staff and Board of Directors, the committee works hard to:
- Monitor and review legislation which directly impacts the home building industry
- Communicate with elected officials and policy makers regarding our industry issues.
- Formulate and advocate for needed changes, and
- Educate members of the association about current issues, new laws, regulatory and administrative matters.
